Solmundson Gesta Hus B&B

The gesta hus is a newly renovated and completely modern comfortable home featuring four guest rooms and a gift shop. The hosts are commercial fishers and gardeners and the dinner specialty (available to guests only) is pickerel and garden-fresh vegetables. Sit on the verandah or in the gazebo to enjoy the view of the lake and watch an extraordinary variety of birds at the feeders or in the perennial gardens. The house is situated next to the church in the historic Icelandic village which features museums and interpretive programs. The park is set in the heart of Lake Winnipeg and features rugged limestone cliffs, vast marshes and forests, and a thriving wildlife population.
