Located on Washington Street, this is the headquarters for the Allegany County Historical Society and features 18 rooms furnished with period pieces, antiques, and displays depicting life in the mid-1800s. Special collection rooms, a genealogy research room and a carriage house also are featured. Guided tours are available.

Open Tuesday through Saturday 11am-4pm; closed major holidays.
