Good Samaritan Hospital, with its rich history of providing health care and services to the communities of northeast Baltimore, was founded in 1968 through a gift from local merchant and philanthropist Thomas J. O'Neill.

Long known as a specialty center for rehabilitation and orthopedics, Good Samaritan has expanded its range of health care services to better serve those in the community.

Good Samaritan, a 271-bed adult care community teaching hospital, provides comprehensive services which include intensive and cardiac care units, an expanding number of innovative medical and surgical capabilities, and primary care physicians and specialists who are rated tops in their fields. Their team of 1,700 Good Samaritans is devoted to your recovery and good health.
