The Ballet Theatre of Maryland is the largest professional ballet company in the state. The school is located at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis. The Russian method of dance training is used as the basis for all classical ballet training at the school. It stresses the teaching of dance through a detailed breakdown of each movement.
