Swallow Falls is a 257 acre State Park offering 65 wooded camp sites with a fire ring, picnic table, and lantern post on a stabilized pad. All camp sites are located near modern bath houses with hot and cold water. Three of the sites have electric, water and sewer available. Hiking trails are found in an old growth forest which pass by several waterfalls including Muddy Creek Falls, the highest waterfall in Maryland. Located in Garrett County, 9 miles northwest of Oakland on County Route 20.
