Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art

This museum is home to the most comprehensive collection of wildfowl carving in the world; the unique, indigenous North American art form is interpreted in displays from antique working decoys to internationally-acclaimed contemporary sculpture and painting. The museum promotes, preserves and perpetuates wildfowl art, and pays tribute to Maryland's Ward brothers, carvers whose skill elevated the one-time hobby to a fine art.

Charging exhibits are featured at two galleries, the Art LaMay Gallery and the Welcome Gallery; activities children in a variety of age groups. Carving classes taught by respected artists offer adults the opportunity to learn from the masters. Public seminars, workshops, demonstrations and lectures promote wildfowl art and foster environmental awareness; tours for children and organizations are offered. which feature assorted changing exhibits. Both galleries are changed a few times each year, ensuring that there's always something new Open daily. .
