Cliff House Resort & Spa

Comments: My daughter and I stayed at the Cliff House Resort and Spa last weekend. The facility was very nice and the view was spectacular. Our plan was to spend the day lounging around the pool. After checking in, we went to the pool but found that there were no lawn chairs to be had. They had a few, but not enough for the guests. When we asked about getting a deck chair we were told that they had none left. I said that after paying $380 a night for a room, I expected to have at least a lawn chair. We were told that we could sit on a regular chair or we could sit on the grass. We expressed our extreme disappointment but and were told that they were doing the best they could do. We felt that they were very short with us and not accommodating at all. I expected that they would offer a complimentary drink or lunch to make up for the fact that they could not provide us a lawn chair and that fact that we paid so much for the accommodations. But they were not helpful or polite.
