Gallery-by-the-Sea is located in Port Clyde at the end of the beautiful Saint George Peninsula, a point of land between Thomaston and Rockland, Maine. Its spacious interior is composed of five rooms and a hallway hung with paintings by more than a dozen fine artists. Most of the images are Maine or New England related and run the gamut from realistic to impressionistic and to abstract. Sculpture and fine art prints are also featured. Some of the artists featured are Leo Brooks, Lawrence C. Goldsmith, Ronald Frontin, Guy Corriero, Emily Muir, David Perkins, Sylvia Murdock, Caleb Stone, Bird Burns, and James Fitzgerald.
