The mission of Redington-Fairview General Hospital (RFGH) is to develop, provide, and facilitate quality comprehensive, cost-effective health services for the people they serve.RFGH is a 65-bed, independent community hospital located in Skowhegan, Maine. The hospital has provided health care for some 31,000 residents of Central Maine since 1952. A medical staff of 40 physicians skilled in a variety of fields, over 500 full and part-time professional and technical employees, and the continued development of new services, ensures the delivery of progressive health and medical services. A member of the Maine Hospital Association and accredited by the Joint Commission of Accredited Health Care Organizations, RFGH offers inpatient and outpatient services in many specialties, and a 24-hour emergency department.
