Inland Hospital is a community-owned, not-for-profit, 46 bed hospital located in
Waterville. They are affiliated with Eastern Maine Healthcare, and can provide a direct link to Eastern Maine Medical Center, one of two major medical centers in the state of Maine.
In 1943, their hospital was created by a group of osteopathic physicians and the osteopathic principles of treating the whole patient rather than just the disease are still very much a part of the Inland philosophy.
Their active staff of 47 and courtesy/consulting staff of 90 plus physicians is made up of equal numbers of DOs and MDs.
