The Maine Aviation Historical Society's goal is to save their state's historic aviation related buildings, aircraft, photographs, memorabilia, and to preserve those living pioneers and their stories for future generations to know and enjoy. In order to preserve this rapidly growing collection, the Society is currently planning construction of the Maine Air Museum at the Bangor International Airport.
