Bingham Union Library, serving an area of 1,760 residents, has a collection of 10,000 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 6 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials30 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes.
Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $189. Patrons make 5,400 visits annually, and check out materials 2,500 times. Thirteen percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
