Belgrade Public Library, serving an area of 3,000 residents, has a collection of 3,700 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 42 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials, as well as . Internet terminals are available for use by the general public.
Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $5,400. Patrons make 1,800 visits annually, and check out materials 3,500 times. Twenty-nine percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
