Forest Hills Consolidated School is a part of Maine School Administrative District 12, serving the communities of Jackman and Moose River. It was built in 1961 and included an elementary and high school wing separated by a central gymnasium. There are currently 185 students in grades K-12, who share the services of the gymnasium, home economics, industrial arts, commons dining area, library and special education. An adult education program for area residents and Education Network of Maine college courses via satellite and GED preparation assistance are also provided.
