The Bluenose Inn has long offered spectacular views of Frenchman Bay. Our enviable location makes the Inn one of the most beautiful spots on the Atlantic. It is just two minutes away from the main entrance to Acadia National Park, and only 600 yards to the dock where the famed 'Cat' ferry makes its daily trip to and from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Set aside from the bustling village, the Bluenose Inn is only a leisurely stroll to its many activities. History buffs appreciate the carefully preserved architecture and array of museums ... music lovers enjoy the host of summer concerts ... the young at heart love the beaches, fishing harbors, mountains, and the many fairs and festivals held throughout the year. You can't help but leave Bar Harbor tanned, relaxed, with a heart full of memories -- and, we hope, plans to visit again! Please note that the Bluenose Inn is a seasonal property. We are open May through October. Also, the photos shown represent the Mizzentop building and room
