Best Western Heritage Motor Inn

The Best Western heritage motor inn has 49 rooms, air conditioned rooms with cable television, a restaurant, lounge, hot tubs and exercise room. There is a beautiful pond with a sand beach for swimming within walking distance from the inn (200 yards). Our motor inn connects directly to all cross country skiing and/or snowmobile trails going into northern maine and baxter state park. During the summer months we can make arrangements for daily white water rafting expeditions on the west branch of the penobscot river. All rafting companies are licensed by the state of maine. Pristine and beautiful baxter state park is ideal for nature walks to the top of mount katahdin, the highest mountain in maine and the end of the appalachian trail. We are also conveniently located by the great northern paper company.From interstate 95 north or south, take exit 56. Travel west and the Best Western heritage motor inn is located ten miles from exit 56 on route 11.
