Fife Lake is in Grand Traverse County, and in the Northern Region. You can locate Fife Lake north of Cadillac on US Hwy 131.Fife Lake was incorporated in 1889, named after William H. Fife, a state highway commissioner from Acme Michigan. This town is found on the banks of a beautiful lake of the same name, and is primarily a tourist area. This community contains a public beach, several small shops and great places to eat at.
