Gaylord is in
Otsego County (of which it is the county seat), and in the
Northern Region. Gaylord is located northeast of
Traverse City between
Mackinaw City and
Grayling along Interstate 75 near Otsego Lake and the Sturgeon River.
Gaylord is an alpine community, and is home to many year round resorts, world class golf courses and ski resorts. If you like different types of architecture, you'll enjoy the downtown area.
