Carson City Hospital is a 77-bed, acute care hospital located in central Michigan. It is the oldest osteopathic hospital in Michigan, founded in 1936 by Emmett Binkert, DO. Since this time CCH has been committed to serving the residents of communities in a four-county area.
In addition to acute hospital care, CCH provides a variety of advanced services, ranging from an intensive/coronary care unit to a behavioral health unit and multiple outpatient services. CCH also provides 24-hour Emergency Room Care. Physicians are available at any time at the hospital, day or night for emergency or non-emergency medical assistance.
In December 1996, CHN became affiliated with the Sparrow Health System of Lansing, Michigan. This affiliation has many benefits including holding down health care costs, improved access to specialized services, access to information systems, managed care contracts and new physician recruitment.
