The mission of First Baptist Church of Ypsilanti is to lead people to faith in Jesus Christ and to equip people to live as servants devoted to Jesus Christ and His church. Sunday morning services are one of two focal points of their worship experience, with each sermon designed around a specific theme applicable to day-to-day lives of the congregation. The church has two active bible study groups which meet weekly. Its youth group meets weekly and they attend rallies and ABC camps and participate in national, state, and local projects.
