Straits Scuba Center's dive sites range from wooden schooners and barges to a 588 foot steel freighter, the Cedarville. All skill levels of diving are available. The Rec Diver is a modern, 42 foot trawler style boat with a full displacement hull designed expressly for Great Lakes use. The boat is diesel powered, steel hulled and specially modified for diving. It provides amenities such as a spacious rear deck with benches, individual storage on deck, dry storage for cameras, clothing and other equipment in the cabins, and two heated interior cabins, both with 6' of headroom, with benches, and bunks.
