The Belvedere Inn was built in 1913 by John D. Williamson, Vice President of the People's Gas & Electric Company of Chicago, for use as his family's Summer home.
The guest rooms are beautifully decorated with each room having its own private bath. The Inn is surrounded by five acres of beautifully manicured landscaping, gardens and fountains. The wide, wraparound terrace provides a perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon sunning or evening refreshment.
