Located on South Main Street, this museum reflects the history of early Plymouth through permanent and changing exhibits. A gallery houses Main Street shops and offices and reflects the many trades and professions of 19th century Plymouth. Other highlights include the Victorican Rooms' exhibit and the Then and Now hands-on center. The museum has what is said to be the only Alter car, automobiles built in Plymouth 1916-17. Open Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 1pm-4pm, Sunday 2pm-5pm.
