Proud Lake Recreation Area

Proud Lake Recreation Area contains more than 4,000 acres and is located on the Huron River. Proud Lake is located within this area and is overlooked by a campground containing 130 electric equiped campsites and two mini-cabins.

Rainbow and brown trout are available from the Huron River and the area lakes provide bass, pike, sunfish and crappie fishing. During the winter, cross-country skiing is a popular activity.
