The Michigan Institute of Urology operates nine locations throughout the metropolitan Detroit area. The institute is comprised of twenty four general and fellowship trained urologists with physician extenders/registered nurses/medical assistants and ancillary personnel. Some among the services include laser surgery, male fertility, vasectomy, and minimally invasive surgery, including laproscopic transplant donor nephrectomy, laproscopic kidney tumor removal, laproscopic and robotic radical prostatectomy, laproscopic cryosurgery of kidney tumors, and lithotripsy as well as percutaneous ultrasonic, and laser kidney stone removal.
