Sidney is in
Montcalm County, and in the
West-Southwest Region. This community is located on County road 510 and northeast of
Greenville.
Sidney is on the Fred Meijer trail, which is part of Michigans Rails-to-Trails network. Sidney Township is also home of Montcalm Community College, which is located about a mile East of town. There is also a park about one mile North of town.
