Ramsdell Theater

The historic Ramsdell Theatre is located in the Manistee business district. The theater is owned by the City of Manistee and operated by the Manistee Civic Players. The theatre features stage, symphony and fine arts productions.

The Ramsdell is also used by the public for a wide variety of cultural and social activities. Its art institute collects and maintains a permanent visual art collection. The theater sponsors and displays non-commercial art exhibitions from noted museum, private, and corporate collections, and conducts visual arts classes, workshops, lectures, and special programming.
