Located on Lakeshore Drive, this is a reconstructed 19th century community of 20 buildings overlooking Lake Michigan. Included are a blacksmith shop, courthouse, hardware store, fire hall, chapel, schoolhouse, logging and maritime museums and the Rose Hawley Museum. Self-guiding tours are available. Picnicking is permitted.

Open Tuesday through Saturday 11am-5pm in June through September. Hours vary the rest of the year.
