Be sure to make a call at St. Paul's historic Ramsey House, where guides dressed as servants may surprise you with a tour of the territorial governor's Victorian home as well as some fresh cookies. Enjoy a glimpse into family and servant life in the 1870s at one of the nation's best preserved Victorian-era homes; Ramsey House features carved walnut woodwork, marble fireplaces, crystal chandeliers and many of the original furnishings. Pick up Victorian-era souvenirs in the on-site Carriage House gift shop. Located one block south on Ramsey from West Seventh Street at Irvine Park; closed January 1-May 2.
