Founded by Herb and Carol Bloomberg, the 600-seat main Dinner Theatre opened in 1968. Chanhassen Dinner Theatre has since expanded to include 4 separate theatres to become a premiere entertainment establishment. Chanhassen Dinner Theatres have served nearly six million guests and is the largest professional dinner theatre in the nation, as well as the largest restaurant in the state of Minnesota and 13th largest in the nation. Reservations are highly recommended. Ticket prices include dinner and show; tickets are sometimes available for show-only with restrictions, inquire with box office for details. Matinee shows performed on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Special rates offered for groups of 15 or more for all performances except Saturday evenings, with especially attractive prices for weeknight and matinee shows. Prearranged complimentary tours available.
