Big Lake Wilderness Lodge has rustic, cozy cabins with modern housekeeping conveniences. Guests have the chance to see moose, bald eagles, loons, otters, beavers and other wild animals. You can canoe the BWCA (Boundary Waters Canoe Area) from your dock and come back to a nice warm bath. Hiking is available from your door along the lake and into the woods. The lodge is accessible to those in wheelchairs, and features recreational areas and a store for gifts, food, bait and tackle. It also has two cabins that are wheelchair accessible, along with the main dock, the picnic area in front of the lodge where potlucks are held. Winter: (507) 261-4513
