Koochiching County, International Falls is located in the
Lakes of the Northern Lights Region near the border of Canada on Hwy 11 on the banks of the Rainy river near Voyageurs National Park. Although the area offers a wide array of summer activities, it calls itself "The Icebox of the Nation."
