On the banks of the Mississippi river, Little Falls is located in Morrison County (of which it is the county seat) in the Woods and Waters Region midway between Brainerd and St Cloud where US 10 meets Hwys 27 and 371. The Charles A. Lindbergh House state historic site is nearby. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 7,519, an increase of 148 since 1990.
