Hubbard County, on Hwy 34 east of
Park Rapids. Nevis is considered the midpoint of the paved Heartland Trail that stretches 49 miles from Park Rapids to Walker and north to Cass Lake.
The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 420, an increase of 45 since 1990.
