The vineyards are located mostly in the southern half of Minnesota wherever site and soil are found in combinations pleasing to the vines. Most vineyards are small (1-5 acres) and receive meticulous care from the grower in order to withstand the rigors of Minnesota's harsh winter climate. The grape growing skills of the grower/owners and contract growers are reflected in the high quality of the wines produced.
