The former Sacred Heart Cathedral, circa 1896, is now a famous Duluth venue for the performing arts. Regional, national, and international artists and musicians are represented at the historic landmark, which is currently undergoing renovation. The Music Center's famous 1898 Felgemaker pipe organ was recently selected for recognition by the Organ Historical Society for its 'exceptional historic merit, worthy of preservation.'
