The center contains the county historical museum, an archives and research center and 8 miles of marked nature trails with interpretive stations. Museum exhibits include outdoor scenes, a log barn with antique farm equipment, American Indian artifacts and lodges, a mock stone quarry and changing displays. Open Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday noon-4pm; closed holidays.
