The only permanent outdoor classical repertory theatre in Minnesota, Shakespeare and Company was founded in 1976. Performances are held in a remarkable family friendly setting, with youngsters scampering on the lawn, while actors in period costumes make the versified language of Shakespeare and other classical contemporaries come alive.
