One of the state's most scenic lakes, this 1,630-acre area offers boating, swimming, skiing and fishing, especially for crappie and catfish. Above the lake are canoeing and fishing on the crystal clear Black River. In this picturesque area of stately oak and hickory forest, steep shorelines and high bluffs are many Corps public-use areas offering camping, marinas, boat ramps, and beaches, plus a numer of lodges, resorts and other accommodations.
