This Greek Revival style home was built in 1857 and is distinguished as having been visited by Ulysses S Grant during the Civil War. The home's second owner, Colby T Quisenberry, brought the first saddle horses into
Audrain County from Kentucky. Furnished period rooms include a parlor and a bedroom that is highlighted by original Currier & Ives prints. Old wedding dresses and a large doll collection are also displayed. The grounds feature an old country schoolhouse. Open seasonally, February-December.
