Katy Trail State Park is highlighted by the 185-mile Katy Trail, once the MKT Railroad corridor from
St Charles to Sedalia. Recent additions to the trail include walking and bicycle trails, trail heads are spotted in various towns along the trail. The trail features varying landscapes, from towering bluffs to the Missouri River, and overhanging forest canopies to spacious farmlands. Visitors to the trail's river trails and railroad towns will enjoy the ride or walk along its many scenic landscapes.
