The unique 247-acre historic site north of Sedalia, constructed 1897-1928, has been a landmark for generations of Missouri State Fair visitors. The dramatic setting at cliffsedge gives a castle-like impression; interior rooms display the decor of Mission and Craftsman styles. The lodge was the highlight of prominent Sedalia attorney John Bothwell's Stonyridge Farm. The site features day-use picnic area and one mile hiking trail. Guided tours area available.
