The development of life on the plains and
Kansas City's role in westward expansion are related through artifacts and exhibits. The displays are housed in Corinthian Hall, a 50-room mansion, and include depictions of rivers, lands, Osage Indians, explorers and trappers, and a 1910 corner drugstore with a working soda fountain. A natural history hall and a planetarium are part of the complex.
