Texas County Memorial Hospital is a not-for-profit, acute care facility located near the geographical center of Texas County at the intersection of U.S. Highway 63 and State Highway 17 on the southern edge of
Houston.
Both Houston and Texas County Memorial Hospital are located approximately 32 miles southeast of Fort Leonard Wood, 150 miles southwest of St Louis and 80 miles northeast of Springfield.
In addition to Texas County, the hospital's service area covers a 40 mile radius from Houston. This includes portions of Dent, Phelps, Shannon, Douglas, Wright, LaClede, and Pulaski counties.
