Barnes-Jewish Hospital is proud to be named, year after year, among America's best hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. It is the only Missouri hospital listed in The Best Hospitals in America.

As the flagship hospital of BJC HealthCare, Barnes-Jewish Hospital has a premier reputation in patient care, medical education, research and community service. It is the primary adult teaching hospital of Washington University School of Medicine, one of the top three schools of medicine in the country.

Barnes-Jewish Hospital's 1,724-member medical staff includes full-time faculty of the Washington University, as well as private physicians. The medical staff is supported by a house staff of more than 850 residents, interns and fellows, in addition to professional nurses and technicians, and service and support personnel.
