This 1,356-acre state park was developed around the springs formed by the merging of tiny Pigeon Creek with the approximately 40 million gallons of cold spring water that emanates from Montauk Springs daily. The park also includes the spring branch, and provides a popular spot for trout fishing and a portion of the stream is stocked on a daily basis with rainbow trout from March 1-October 31. A campground and rustic rental cabins are located in the Ozark valley site of an old gristmill. Modern accommodations are available at the park lodge, which features a nearby meeting room, store and restaurant, available even during winter months. Located 21 miles southwest of Salem.
