Joy Assisted Living was opened in February, 1995. This beautiful facility is family owned and operated, and has a wonderful home-like atmosphere where you can make many new friends and enjoy the companionship of others. It is a place of compassion, concern, and caring. It is dedicated to serving the needs of the residents. The building is all on ground level, so there are no stairs or elevators. A new wing was added in April 2001 featuring a private dining room, large activity room, and spacious suites. They offer regular shopping trips, bingo, movies, and a cooking club. They also offer Sunday church services, provided by local pastors, as well as a weekly bible study meeting.
