The 1,053-acre Wakonda State Park is a favorite spot for fishing, featuring several lakes and a large sand beach, where visitors enjoy a variety of watersports. The park is excellent for birdwatching. Other amenities include a campground, rental boats, picnic areas, food concession and canoe rental available. Lifeguards on duty at beach. RVs also available here for rental. Located three miles south of LaGrange.
