Warsaw is located in
Benton County, of which it is the county seat. Warsaw is a vacation center at the head of
Lake of the Ozarks. Parts of the Butterfield Overland Trail, an early stagecoach route, can be hiked within the town and its immediate vicinity.
Harry S Truman State Park offers developed recreational facilities on the Truman Dam's reservoir, formed by the Osage River. Warsaw is located just off I65; Harry S Truman Reservoir is nearby.
