Lake of the Ozarks

Missouri's largest lake is an all-around family vacation land in the heart of the state. Created in 1931 with the completion of Bagnell Dam, the 58,000-acre lake offers sailing, boating, skiing, swimming and other water fun. The fishing is superb for black bass, catfish, and crappie. Over 200 resorts surround the 1,150 acres of wooded shoreline, in addition to plenty of campgrounds offering everything from hiking and biking to horseback riding and swimming, including those at Lake of the Ozarks State Park.
